ORO

Weight, space and unease — built for the live room.

Third album in productionBooking Sweden · Nordics · Europe

ORO move between crushing post-metal, stark melody and wide atmospheric passages. The quiet parts create the pressure. The heavy parts release it.

Formed in Örebro in 2014, ORO released their debut album Djupets Kall through Endless Winter in 2019, followed by Vid Vägs Ände through Hammerheart Records in December 2023. Across both records, the band developed a sound rooted in sludge and doom, shaped by dynamic shifts and a distinctly Scandinavian darkness.

ORO are now recording their third album. The new material widens the band's use of atmosphere and synth, creating a broader sense of space while retaining the weight and intensity at the core of ORO.
